The Arizona Coyotes and forward Lawson Crouse have agreed to terms on a five-year, $21.5 million contract extension that carries an average annual value of $4.3 million, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman has learned, taking another restricted free agent off the market.
The 25-year-old is coming off a contract that saw him earn $1.53 million annually.
Originally acquired by the Coyotes in a trade with the Florida Panthers in 2016, Crouse has spent the last six seasons in Arizona, emerging over the years as a power forward who is consistently hard to play against.
Last season, Crouse appeared in 65 games for the Coyotes, scoring 20 times and adding 14 assists.
Overall in his career, he has played 346 games, notching 56 goals and assisting on 54 others.
