A depth forward is sticking around in New Jersey.
Nathan Légaré re-signed with the Devils on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Thursday.
The deal for Légaré is worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $125,000 in the AHL, with a total guarantee of $140,000.
Légaré, 24, appeared in three games — the first of his career — for the Devils this season, failing to hit the score sheet.
In 69 games with the AHL's Utica Comets, the right winger recorded 25 points (17 goals, eight assists).
The Devils acquired Légaré from the Montreal Canadiens in March 2024. The Montreal native was originally selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the third round of the 2019 draft.
