A former fifth-round pick is entering the fold for the New Jersey Devils.
Forward Arseniy Gritsyuk signed a one-year entry-level contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
Gritsyuk, 24, spent parts of the past five seasons in the KHL. In 49 games this season, the six-footer recorded 17 goals and 27 assists. He tied the team lead with five points in six playoff games.
Selected 129th overall in 2019, Gritsyuk helped Russia claim silver medals at the 2022 Olympics and 2019 world juniors.
