Flames sign Zac Rinaldo to one-year, two-way contract

Watch as Sportsnet's Ryan Leslie and Eric Francis recap a successful first day of NHL Free Agency for the Calgary Flames, as they lock-up one of the top available goalies in Jacob Markstrom to a six year deal.

The Calgary Flames are bringing back power forward Zac Rinaldo on a one-year, two-way contract. The deal pays Rinaldo $700,000 at the NHL level.

Rinaldo, 30, appeared in 19 games for the Flames last season, recording five points and 34 penalty minutes.

Earlier in the day, the Flames landed prized free agent goalie Jacob Markstrom on a six-year contract.
