Philadelphia will have its No. 1 between the pipes as it goes for the sweep.
Flyers goalie Dan Vladar will start Game 4 against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 8:20 p.m. ET / 5:20 p.m. PT), the team announced.
There had been some questions surrounding Vladar's health after an apparent injury during the third period of Wednesday's Game 3 when he collided with Penguins forward Bryan Rust.
Vladar spoke with trainers after the play but stayed in the game. He missed practice on Thursday before Friday's off-day.
The 28-year-old Czech has shone for the Flyers during the post-season, posting a .946 save percentage through three games, including a shutout in Game 2.
Meanwhile, the Penguins will be changing things up while on the brink of elimination.
Pittsburgh will turn to Arturs Silovs in net, head coach Dan Muse announced.
Silovs will start in place of Stuart Skinner, who allowed nine goals on a 3.08 GAA and .873 save percentage through the first three games.
Silovs, 25, was traded to Pittsburgh from the Vancouver Canucks last summer. In 38 regular-season starts for the Penguins, he posted a 3.07 GAA and .887 save percentage.
Saturday's tilt will be the Latvian goalie's first playoff appearance since 2024, when he was a member of the Canucks. In 10 post-season appearances, Silovs held a 2.91 GAA and .898 save percentage.
