Hurricanes sign David Gust to one-year, two-way contract

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed forward David Gust to a one-year, two-way contract.

Gust will make $700,000 at the NHL level and $80,000 in the AHL. The 26-year-old spent the 2019-20 season with the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers. In 172 career games in the AHL, he has 88 points.
