Jets head coach Paul Maurice told reporters Wednesday afternoon that Ehlers and Dubois would miss the first game of the post-season, but did not provide clarity on the rest of Winnipeg’s lineup.
Ehlers has been out of Winnipeg’s lineup since late April due to an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old had 21 goals and 25 assists in 47 games before the injury.
Dubois, 22, left the Jets’ regular-season finale against the Toronto Maple Leafs on May 14 with an undisclosed injury. In 41 games with Winnipeg since coming over in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Dubois has eight goals and 20 points.
The Jets and Oilers get their first-round series underway Wednesday night at 7 p.m. MT/8 p.m. CT on Sportsnet and SN Now.
