Justin Bieber's love for the Toronto Maple Leafs has been well-documented over the years, and now the Canadian superstar has funnelled his lifelong fandom into a new Leafs-themed video to accompany his latest hit single, Hold On.

Bieber released the video, which he's calling 'a love letter to the Maple Leafs,' on Wednesday. It features game highlights, behind-the-scenes footage of the team in action, and shots of Bieber's friendship with some of the Leafs' biggest stars.

Justin Bieber’s friendships with some of the Leafs’ biggest stars, particularly Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner, dates back a few years now. The three — plus former Leaf Tyson Barrie — suited up for a little shinny in Stratford in December 2019, which seems to have been the launching point of the close bond between the stars. Bieber has often been seen cheering on the Leafs pre-COVID, and he and Matthews could also be seen joining forces on Instagram Live during the pause.

Hold On was officially released March 5, and is the fourth single from his sixth studio album, Justice, which is set to be released March 19.
