The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed forward Martin Chromiak to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000, the team announced Tuesday.
Chromiak, who was set to become a restricted free agent July 1, had 18 goals and 39 points in 69 games during the regular season with the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League. He also chipped in one goal in two Calder Cup playoff games.
The 22-year-old from Ilava, Slovakia, was drafted in the fifth round, 128th overall, by the Kings in 2020.
Chromiak, who has yet to make his NHL regular-season debut, has 99 points (48 goals and 51 assists) in 196 career AHL games over parts of four seasons with the Reign.
