The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking to win three games in a row for the first time this season when they entertain the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night as -165 home favourites on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Toronto is coming off a narrow 5-4 victory over the visiting Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night, and has now tallied wins in three of five home dates this season going into Tuesday night's matchup at Scotiabank Arena.

The Maple Leafs enjoyed a long-awaited offensive breakthrough in Saturday's win over Detroit, potting a season-high five goals after averaging just two goals per game over their first eight outings. However, the Maple Leafs have also surrendered an average of 4.40 goals per game over their past five outings.

Set as +140 road underdogs at online sports betting sites for Tuesday, the Golden Knights arrive in Toronto riding a three-game win streak after escaping with a narrow 5-4 home win over Anaheim on Friday. However, the Golden Knights have scored just five times while going winless in three all-time visits to Toronto.

Later on Tuesday, the Calgary Flames host the Nashville Predators as -150 home chalk. The Flames have benefited from spectacular goaltending while piling up six straight wins. Jacob Markstrom has recorded a trio of shutout wins over his past four starts, capped by Saturday's decisive 4-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Predators kick off a six-game road trip in Calgary as +130 underdogs. Nashville has rebounded from a middling start with three straight wins, and has also earned narrow one-goal victories in each of the team's past two dates with Calgary.

Meanwhile, the Vancouver Canucks will try to snap a three-game slide on Tuesday night as they host the New York Rangers as -105 home underdogs. The Canucks have scored just four times while going winless in their first three home dates of the season, but each of those losses came by just a single goal. Winners in six of seven, the Rangers are set as -115 road chalk as they seek to limit their opponents to one or fewer goals for the sixth time in eight outings.

Elsewhere on the NHL odds for Tuesday, the Montreal Canadiens stumble home riding a two-game losing streak as they host the Red Wings for the second time this season as -140 chalk. The Ottawa Senators wrap up a three-game road trip in Minnesota as +170 underdogs, while the Winnipeg Jets aim to stay perfect at home as they battle the Dallas Stars as a -130 wager.
