Oilers sign Adam Cracknell to one-year, two-way contract

The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Adam Cracknell to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Thursday.

The 35-year-old joins the organization after spending last season with the KHL's Kunlun Red Star, where he racked up 10 goals and 24 points in 52 games.

The Prince Albert, Sask., native has appeared in 210 career NHL games with seven teams over nine seasons between 2010 and 2019, including an eight-game stint with the Oilers during the 2015-16 campaign. He last played in the NHL with the Anaheim Ducks in February of 2019.

The six-foot-three, 209-pound forward has also suited up in 530 AHL games, posting 309 points and 306 penalty minutes.
