Vegas Golden Knights goalie Robin Lehner's injury woes seemingly went from bad to worse with the news, as reported Thursday by ESPN and The Athletic, that he's left the team's current road trip to have a lower-body injury tested.

Lehner, 30, had previously been suffering from a lower-body injury, but was sent back to Vegas as the Golden Knights headed to face his former team the Sabres in Buffalo. Kaplan further reports that Lehner is not expected to miss the remainder of the season because of the injury.

Lehner, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, has appeared in 38 games this season for the Knights, posting a 21-15 record with a 2.77 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
