Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk will replace injured teammate Drake Batherson on the Atlantic Division roster for the NHL All-Star Game on Feb. 5 in Las Vegas, the NHL announced Wednesday.

Tkachuk will make his second all-star appearance after getting the nod in 2020.

Batherson was hurt on Tuesday when he was elbowed by Buffalo Sabres goalie Aaron Dell, sending him crashing into the boards.

Batherson suffered a high-ankle sprain.
