The Dallas Stars are switching things up with their season on the line.
Up front, forward Michael Bunting will replace Arttu Hyry, while Alex Petrovic will draw in on the backend for Game 6 Thursday against the Minnesota Wild (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT), head coach Glen Gulutzan told reporters.
Defenceman Tyler Myers looks like he will be scratched with Petrovic taking his spot during morning skate.
The Stars trail the Wild 3-2 in their first-round series, with the Colorado Avalanche awaiting the winner.
Myers, who was acquired mid-season from the Vancouver Canucks, has struggled through five playoff games with a minus-five and zero points. He had three assists in 16 regular-season games with the Stars.
Petrovic played 17 playoff games for Dallas last season, recording one goal and one assist, but has yet to appear in these playoffs. He put up two goals and eight assists in 54 regular-season games.
Bunting, a mid-season acquisition from the Nashville Predators, has also yet to appear in the post-season after registering one goal and one assist in 13 games with Dallas in the regular season.
Hyry, meanwhile, is out with a lower-body injury after leaving Game 5 following a blocked shot.
