Waiver watch: Flyers claim forward Zack MacEwen from Canucks

The Philadelphia Flyers have claimed forward Zack MacEwen off waivers from the Vancouver Canucks.

MacEwen, 25, recorded one goal, one assist and 44 penalty minutes in 34 games with the Canucks last season.

All other players placed on waivers Tuesday cleared.

Meanwhile, the Seattle Kraken placed defenceman Dennis Cholowski on waivers Wednesday. The 23-year-old was Seattle's selection from Detroit in the expansion draft. He produced three points in 16 games with the Red Wings last season.
