Minnesota Wild rookie forward Marco Rossi, the ninth pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, will be sidelined indefinitely due to an upper-body injury, the team announced Sunday.

The 19-year-old was expected to be a darkhorse candidate for the 2020-21 Calder Trophy after leading the OHL in scoring last season with 120 points in 56 games for the Ottawa 67's.
