One of the most decorated runs for a manager in the Premier League is coming to an end.
Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City in the summer following a 10-year spell at the club, David Ornstein of The Athletic reported Monday.
According to Ornstein, Enzo Maresca is expected to replace him.
Guardiola, 55, has won all there is to win with The Citizens, with six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, five EFL Cups and a Champions League trophy to his name. In all, he's won 20 major trophies in his 10 years in Manchester and remains in contention for a seventh league trophy, only two points back of league leaders Arsenal with two games to go.
Should the Spaniard manage to win the Premier League a seventh time this year, he'll have earned his first domestic treble with wins in the FA and EFL Cups.
Prior to joining City in 2016, Guardiola had spent three seasons at Bayern Munich and four at Barcelona, the club at which he spent the majority of his playing career.
Taking over at the Etihad will be Maresca, who most recently managed Chelsea before stepping down in January due to tension with the club's owners. The Italian manager was replaced by Liam Rosenior.
Maresca, 46, grew under Guardiola as one of the legendary manager's assistants from 2022 to 2023 and led the club's Under-21 side for the 2020-21 season.
