Anderson Silva will be looking to end his illustrious MMA career on a winning note when he takes on middleweight Uriah Hall on Saturday as a +180 underdog on the UFC odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Silva has struggled to find the win column since losing the UFC middleweight crown to Chris Weidman seven years ago at UFC 162, and has announced his intention to retire from combat sports following Saturday night's matchup at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Silva is coming off a crushing first-round TKO loss to Jared Cannonier in his last outing almost 18 months ago at UFC 237, and has come away with the win in just one of his past eight trips to the octagon. The 45-year-old Brazilian's struggles began with the first of back-to-back second-round losses to Weidman. However, Silva has gone the distance with regularity since, with five of his past six contests getting decided by the judges, including a three-round unanimous decision win over Derek Brunson at UFC 208.

While Silva winds down his career, Hall looks to boost his stock on the UFC middleweight rankings when he enters the octagon on Saturday as a -230 favourite at online sports betting sites. Currently pegged at No. 10 in the divisional rankings, Hall has been idle since claiming a split decision win over Antônio Carlos Júnior at UFC Fight Night 158. Now riding his first two-fight win streak in over five years, Hall has gained a reputation as an effective finisher while racking up a pro MMA record of 15-9, with 11 of his victories coming by knockout.

Elsewhere on the UFC odds for Saturday, featherweight Bryce Mitchell puts an unblemished 13-0 record on the line as he battles Andre Fili as -145 chalk. "Thug Nasty" gained notoriety as a submission specialist early in his career while forcing each of his first eight opponents to tap out. However, he has seen four of his past five contests decided by the judges, capped by a unanimous decision win over Charles Rosa at UFC 249. Fili returns to action as a +115 underdog on the heels of a split decision win over Charles Jourdain at UFC Vegas 2, and has seen eight of his past nine fights go the distance.

Earlier in the evening, Greg Hardy faces off against fellow heavyweight Maurice Greene as heavy -340 chalk, while Kevin Holland takes on UFC newcomer Charlie Ontiveros as a massive -750 favourite in a clash of middleweights.
