Derrick Lewis will be looking to rebound from his recent failed bid for the interim heavyweight title when he takes on fellow heavyweight Chris Daukaus on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 199 as a +115 underdog on the UFC odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Lewis was stopped by a third-round TKO in his title clash with Ciryl Gane at UFC 265, which also marked his first defeat in five octagon appearances going into Saturday night's fight at UFC Apex.

A fan favourite, Lewis has climbed to No. 3 in the heavyweight rankings during his current 4-1 run. The 36-year-old American tallied a pair of second-round finishes during his recent win streak, and earned the fourth Performance of the Night bonus of his career with his knockout victory over Curtis Blaydes at UFC Vegas 19.

However, Lewis has gained little experience in championship rounds over his 11-year professional MMA career, with just two of his 34 career fights lasting longer than three rounds.

Daukaus, meanwhile, will be looking to extend his current win streak to six fights when he steps into the octagon Saturday night as a -140 favourite at betting sites. Currently ranked seventh among UFC heavyweight contenders, Daukaus is coming off a decisive second-round TKO win over Shamil Abdurakhimov at UFC 266. That victory came on the heels of four straight finishes inside five minutes, and earned him his third Performance of the Night bonus in as many appearances.

Elsewhere on the UFC betting lines for Saturday, Stephen Thompson will be looking to avoid losing consecutive fights for the second time over his past six outings as he battles Belal Muhammad as -230 chalk in a clash of welterweights. Thompson dropped a three-round unanimous decision to Gilbert Burns at UFC 264, ending a two-fight win streak and dumping his record to 3-4-1 over his past eight outings.

Set as a +185 wager for Saturday night, Muhammed looks to extend his current six-fight undefeated streak. Muhammed has earned unanimous decisions on four occasions over that stretch, and has seen nine of his past 11 fights get decided by the judges.

As well, Amanda Lemos vies for a fourth opening-round victory in five fights since joining the UFC women's strawweight division as she battles struggling veteran Angela Hill as a heavy -350 favourite. Ricky Simon is pegged as -275 chalk in his scheduled featherweight clash with Raphael Assuncao, while Mateusz Gamrot faces off against fellow lightweight Diego Ferreira as a -200 bet.
