Adam Henrique and Adam Larsson are set to make their season debuts for the New Jersey Devils Thursday against the New York Islanders at the Prudential Center.

Adam Henrique had thumb surgery on Nov. 29 to re-attached a ligament and has played 16 games with the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League where he tallied eight points. Henrique is expected to centre the Devils’ fourth line with Krys Barch and Matt Anderson while also seeing time on the power play.

Larsson meanwhile will make his season debut for the Devils after being a healthy scratch for the first five games. He’ll play alongside Andy Greene on the Devils blue line. Larsson had 19 points in 33 AHL games this season.

Forward Stefan Matteau will be a healthy scratch and defenceman Mark Fayne is out with a reported arm injury.
