Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle could face discipline after hitting Matt Stajan of the Calgary Flames in the head Tuesday night.
In the second period of Minnesota’s victory over Calgary, Stajan attempted to clear the puck out of the Flames zone, but Coyle came in late and caught the Flames forward with a shoulder to the head.
Coyle received a five-minute major for elbowing, although the hit below does not appear to be an elbow.
Stajan later returned to the game but the Wild ended up winning the game in overtime.
Should Charlie Coyle be suspended for his hit on Matt Stajan?
