Milan Michalek could return to the Ottawa Senators lineup as early as Wednesday night in Toronto.
Milan Michalek (knee) had a good, hard skate today in New York. That’s a very good sign; could return Wednesday at Toronto.

Michalek, who was put on the IR with a lower-body injury on Feb. 12, showed positive signs in his recovery during a skate Sunday in New York.
The Senators, who sit fifth in the Eastern Conference with 27 points, take on the Islanders Sunday and will renew the Battle of Ontario rivalry Wednesday night against the Maple Leafs.
Head coach Paul MacLean also revealed some positive news about defenceman Mike Lundin.
Mike Lundin had a good night’s sleep according to Paul MacLean. Woke up with headache — but at this point, no nausea/dizziness.

Lundin was victim to a Philadelphia forward Harry Zolnierczyk hit during Saturday’s 2-1 loss to the Flyers.
During the first period on Saturday, as Lundin was entering the Flyers’ zone, Zolnierczyk lined him up with what appeared to be a late hit.
Lundin was slow to get up before being assisted to the dressing room. He did not return to the game.
MacLean on Lundin’s concussion: “At this point, there is no timetable we’re aware of.”
