Golden Knights sign defenceman Connor Corcoran to entry-level contract

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenceman Connor Corcoran to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The 19-year-old from Markham, Ont., was a fifth-round pick by the Golden Knights in 2018. He had 19 goals, 54 points and 50 penalty minutes in 62 games with the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires. His 19 goals ranked fourth in the league among defencemen and his 54 points were ninth.

Corcoran had 37 goals and 120 points in 252 games over four seasons with the Spitfires and was an assistant captain this season.
