Oilers announce roster for 2019 prospects camp

The Edmonton Oilers have announced the 23 players that will participate in the team’s annual rookie camp.

The roster features top prospects like 2018 first-round pick Evan Bouchard, 2017 first-round pick Kailer Yamamoto, Raphael Lavoie, Ryan McLeod as well as goaltender Stuart Skinner.

In all, 13 forwards, seven defencemen and three goaltenders will participate.

The camp will open on Sept. 5 at Rogers Place then travel to play in two games against the Calgary Flames on Sept. 7 in Red Deer, Alta., and on Sept. 10 in Calgary.

At the conclusion of rookie camp, select players will receive an invitation to training camp.
