Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins had a procedure on his hand, but is likely to return next week, the team announced Thursday.

The Oilers said Nugent-Hopkins won’t be available for the team’s home-and-home this weekend against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday and Sunday.

The 26-year-old has 16 points in 25 games this season.

Nugent-Hopkins last played in the Oilers’ 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights last Saturday.
