The Washington Capitals may have lost a goalie on Friday.
Goaltender Charlie Lindgren was injured midway through Friday's game against the Montreal Canadiens.
After a collision with Nick Suzuki, Lindgren was knocked to the ice and suffered an upper-body injury.
Lindgren continued in net until the next media timeout where he was replaced by Logan Thompson. The team ruled him out for the game in the second period
Suzuki was chasing his rebound after a shot when Capitals right wing Brandon Duhaime pushed him into Lindgren, causing both of them to fall.
The 31-year-old goalie has 10 wins with a .900 save percentage across 20 games this season for the Eastern Conference-leading Capitals.
