The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defenceman Dyllan Gill to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Gill was limited to 12 games this season with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League after undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery.
He served as the team's captain and recorded one goal and eight assists.
The 19-year-old from Riverview, N.B., was drafted in the seventh round, 223rd overall, by the Lightning in 2022.
He has played four seasons with the Huskies, recording 89 points (15 goals and 74 points) in 185 games.
