Tampa Bay Lightning veteran defenceman Ryan McDonagh left Sunday afternoon's game versus the Florida Panthers with a lower-body injury and did not return.

It's unclear when the injury occurred but McDonagh was limited to only 6:38 of ice time.

The 31-year-old has appeared in all 30 games for the Lightning so far this season, scoring two goals and adding six assists in his fourth season with Tampa Bay.
