Allan Nascimento has passed away at the age of 34, the UFC announced on Monday.
"Nascimento was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep," the UFC wrote on X. "Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene."
He was an active fighter in the UFC's flyweight division; he last fought on June 20 in a loss to Mitch Raposo.
Nascimento held a professional record of 22-7-0 throughout his career and was 4-2-0 in the UFC.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan's family, friends, teammates and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time," the UFC wrote on X.
