It didn’t take long for the WTA Tour to capitalize on Eugenie Bouchard’s rising popularity following her semi-finals appearance at the Australian Open.
On Monday, Bouchard joined 18-time Grand Slam champion and official WTA Championships ambassador Chris Evert as the Tour announced that it is creating a new season-ending championships called “The Road to Singapore.”
And as you can see below, Evert came away impressed by the 19-year-old Bouchard, who does a great job promoting her tour to her more than 100,000 Twitter followers (and counting).
