The Toronto Blue Jays promoted right-hander Jon Harris to triple-A Buffalo, where he will pitch on Thursday afternoon.
Harris, 24, was selected in the first round (29th overall) of the 2015 MLB Draft. He opened this season in double-A, repeating the level he also pitched in for the entire 2017 campaign.
The right-hander owns a 4.76 ERA across 14 starts and 75.2 innings this season. He’s walked 14 against 55 strikeouts, while surrendering 87 hits.
Harris is ranked the No. 10 pitching prospect in the organization, according to MLB Pipeline.
