The Toronto Blue Jays have signed RHP Wilton Lopez, outfielder Caleb Gindl and infielder Jake Fox to minor league deals, the club announced on Friday.
The trio also received invites to Major League spring training.
Lopez was signed by the New York Yankees as an amateur free agent in 2002. Over the past six years, the 31-year-old has had stints with the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies — posting a 16-17 record with an ERA of 3.54 in 292 appearances.
Gindl was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the fifth round of the 2007 amateur draft. In two seasons with the Brewers, the 26-year-old hit .232/.335/.404 along with five home runs in 151 at-bats.
Fox was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the third round of the 2003 amateur draft. The 32-year-old hit .237/.288/.425 along with 20 home runs in 489 at-bats with the Cubs, Oakland Athletics and Baltimore Orioles.
