The Los Angeles Lakers have officially signed guard Avery Bradley, to a two-year, $9.7-million contract, the team announced Monday.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the second year of the deal is a player option.
Last season, Bradley started 49 games for the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 8.2 points and two assists before being dealt to the Memphis Grizzlies in February.
In 14 appearances with Memphis, his averages rose to 16 points, four assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.
The 28-year-old guard shot 35.1 per cent from three-point range overall last season and will round out a Lakers back-court that features Danny Green, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Rajon Rondo, Alex Caruso, Quinn Cook and Troy Daniels.
Adding Bradley brings Los Angeles’ roster count up to 14 players, leaving them with one opening remaining.
