Report: Steph Curry to make playoff debut in Game 2 vs. Pelicans

The Golden State Warriors are about to get a huge boost to their lineup, as Steph Curry is set to make his post-season debut Tuesday in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes.

The news isn’t a big surprise, as head coach Steve Kerr listed the point guard as probable on Monday. He resumed full practice with contact last week.

Curry has missed the entire post-season so far due to a sprained left knee suffered on March 23 — the very same game that saw him return from a right ankle ailment that sidelined him six games. All told, he appeared in just 51 regular season games in 2017-18.

The Warriors easily handled the Pelicans in Game 1 Saturday, 123-101.
