Montreal Canadiens forward Tomas Tatar left Wednesday’s practice with a foot injury.

According to head coach Claude Julien, Tatar suffered the injury after being hit by a puck.

The Canadiens next play on Thursday at home against the San Jose Sharks. Julien didn’t know whether Tatar would be available for that game.

The 28-year-old has seven points in nine games this season, his second with the Canadiens.
