The Philadelphia Flyers will be without forward Scott Hartnell for two to four weeks and centre Vincent Lecavalier for one week after both were injured during the Flyers’ 2-1 loss to the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday.
“Scott has an upper-body injury, probably going to keep him out for at least a week,” Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren told reporters on Friday.
“Vinny’s is a lower-body issue; he’s probably going to be out at least a week.”
Hartnell left the game Friday with 6:48 remaining in the first period. Lecavalier, who has a goal and two assists in five games, not come out for the start of the third period.
The Flyers play the Red Wings in Detroit Saturday night.
