It’s official: We have seen the last of Pavel Datsyuk‘s magical NHL career.
Datsyuk, 37, has one year left on his contract but the Detroit Red Wings superstar confirmed on Saturday that he will return to Russia to finish his hockey career at home.
He is one of the most exciting players of his generation and has one of the best collection of highlights in modern NHL history.
