Oilers sign Kirill Maksimov to entry-level deal

The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Kirill Maksimov to a three-year, entry-level deal.

Maksimov, a fifth-round pick of the Oilers in 2017, has 33 goals and 73 points in 59 games this season with the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs.

He split the 2016-17 season with Niagara and the Saginaw Spirit.

The 18-year-old has represented his native Russia at the U18 level twice winning bronze at the 2017 under-18 world championship.
