Hockeycentral notified the NHL offices Thursday night of an incident in the final minute of the Washington Capitals vs. New York Rangers game when the light from a green laser pointer was spotted around the eyes of goaltender Jose Theodore.
The incident comes following a similar episode on Jan. 9 when Miikka Kiprusoff had a laser aimed in his face.
NHL security was looking into the matter.
