Blue Jays make first round of spring training roster cuts

The Toronto Blue Jays made their first-round of spring training cuts on Friday, announcing 11 players have been assigned or optioned to minor-league camp.

The team reassigned Andrew Bash, Zach Britton, TJ Brock, Jimmy Burnette, Chad Dallas, Devereaux Harrison, Ryan Jennings, Damiano Palmegiani, Alan Roden and Andres Sosa to minor-league camp.

Adam Macko was optioned to triple-A Buffalo.

The Blue Jays have gone 5-8 in their first 13 games of spring training.
