A.J. McKee stays perfect with huge KO win at Bellator 205

A.J. McKee improved to 12-0 as a professional mixed martial artist with a quick knockout victory over John Macapa Friday night in the main event of Bellator 205.

The rising star connected on a left hook that rendered Macapa unconscious just 69 seconds into their featherweight contest. McKee is among the top prospects in all of MMA with all of his fights having taken place in the Bellator cage.

The co-main event saw Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Rafael Lovato Jr. move to 9-0 in MMA with a second-round rear-naked choke submission victory over John Salter. With the win Lovato made a strong case that he deserves to be Bellator’s next middleweight title challenger.

Also on the main card, Veta Arteaga submitted Denise Kielholtz with a guillotine choke and former UFC fan favourite Roger Huerta had his nose broken in a stoppage loss to Patricky “Pitbull” Freire.
