Raptors’ Pascal Siakam leaves game against Mavericks with strained right groin

Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam left Friday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after suffering a strained right groin, the team announced.

Siakam suffered the injury in the third quarter as he slipped on the court and needed help getting to the bench during a timeout. The Raptors said Siakam would not return after going to the locker room.

The 28-year-old had 18 points, six assists and seven rebounds in 31 minutes before having to leave the game. Siakam has been off to a strong start this season averaging 25.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 7.9 assists through eight games.
