Raptors’ Siakam to be re-evaluated in 2 weeks for right adductor muscle strain

The Toronto Raptors announced Sunday that forward Pascal Siakam has been diagnosed with a strain of the right adductor muscle and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Siakam sustained the lower-body injury during the third quarter of Friday’s 111-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

The 28-year-old from Cameroon leads the team with averages of 24.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists in nine games this season.

Siakam was already listed as doubtful for the Raptors’ game Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. Guard Fred VanVleet is also questionable due to lower back stiffness.

Watch the Raptors host the Bulls at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on Sportsnet or SN NOW.
