The Toronto Raptors are trading guard Terence Davis to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for a future second-round pick, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Davis, 23, had 6.9 points, 1.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game in 34 games (four starts) for the Raptors this season. All three averages were a step backward for the undrafted guard, who was a second-team All-Rookie member in 2019-20.
Davis was arrested in late October for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, but the New York District Attorney’s Office dismissed the domestic assault charges last month.
Though the Raptors held onto star guard Kyle Lowry at Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET deadline, they were busy with other moves: dealing Davis, Norman Powell and Matt Thomas in exchange for two second-round picks, Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood.
