The Montreal Canadiens have acquired forward prospect Jacob Perreault from the Anaheim Ducks for forward prospect Jan Mysak.
Perreault, 21, is a Montreal native and was a first-round pick, 27th overall, in the 2020 NHL Draft.
This season he has seven goals and 18 points in 31 AHL games with the San Diego Gulls.
Perreault’s father is former Canadiens player Yanic Perreault.
Mysak, 21, has 13 goals and 20 points in 48 AHL games with Laval this season. He was a second-round pick, 48th overall, in 2020.
