Canadiens’ Anderson suspended two games for boarding Pietrangelo

Montreal Canadiens forward Josh Anderson has been suspended two games for boarding Vegas Golden Knights defenceman Alex Pietrangelo on Saturday, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced Sunday.

Anderson received a game misconduct for hitting Pietrangelo into the Golden Knights bench in the third period of the Canadiens’ 6-4 loss.

Anderson will miss Tuesday night’s game in Detroit and Wednesday night’s game against Vancouver.

Anderson has three goals and two assists in 12 games this season.
