The Montreal Canadiens have opted not to give qualifying offers to forward Rem Pitlick and defencemen Kale Clague and Josh Brook, making them unrestricted free agents.
The Canadiens did give qualifying offers to forwards Kirby Dach, Nate Schnarr and Joel Teasdale, and goaltenders Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau.
Dach was acquired last week in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Pitlick had 15 goals and 22 assists in 67 combined games last season with the Canadiens and Minnesota Wild.
The Canadiens claimed the Ottawa native off waivers in January.
Clague had two goals and eight assists in 36 games with Montreal last season.
The Canadiens picked the Regina native up off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings in December.
Brook, a second-round pick (56th overall) of the Canadiens in the 2017 Draft, has yet to play in the NHL.
