Canucks forward Tanner Pearson out ‘at least’ day-to-day after exiting game

Vancouver Canucks forward Tanner Pearson was ruled out of the game against the Montreal Canadians and did not return.

No cause was given for Pearson’s departure, though Sportsnet’s Dan Murphy says it is believed to be due to a left hand injury.

After the game, Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau said he’d be out “at least” day-to-day.

Before leaving, Pearson committed two penalties for four penalty minutes in 6:17 of ice time.

Pearson committed his seventh minor penalty in 14 games against the Canadiens.
