Canucks sign Petan to one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000

The Vancouver Canucks have signed center Nic Petan to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000 at the NHL level and $450,000 at the AHL level.

Petan, currently playing for the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, appeared in seven games for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2020-2021 regular season, tallying one point on one assist.

The 26-year-old has played in 136 career NHL games, spending the last three seasons with the Maple Leafs.
