The Calgary Flames announced Monday they have reopened their facility to players and staff who have remained negative for COVID-19 through daily testing.
Players and staff will be allowed to return to the facility over the following week after finishing their required isolation period, per Alberta Health Services recommendations.
The Flames are in the midst of a COVID-19 outbreak with 19 players plus three coaches and 10 members of the staff currently in protocol.
Calgary also said no players or staff tested positive Sunday, marking a third consecutive day of zero new cases for the club.
The Flames last played Dec. 11 at home against the Boston Bruins. Four games were already on hold before the NHL announced all of Calgary’s games through to Christmas were postponed.
